Multi PDF Converter works well with antivirus/firewall software

Select your antivirus/firewall program

Windows Security (Defender)

  1. Go to the Start menu and type: Windows Defender, select Windows Defender settings..
  2. Scroll down and select: Virus & threat protection.
  3. Under Virus & threat protection settings, click: Manage settings.
  4. Under Exclusions, click: Add or remove exclusions.
  5. Click the + button and choose: Process.
  6. In the Enter process name box, type in exactly: MultiPdfConverter.exe
  7. Click Add and close the Security Window.
  8. Restart Batch PDF Merger and enter the license key.

Norton Antivirus

  1. Start Norton
    If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.
  2. In the Norton main window, click Settings.
  3. In the Settings window, click Firewall.
  4. On the Program Control tab, select Multi PDF Converter program to allow access to the Internet.
  5. In the Access drop-down list for the program entry, click Allow.
  6. Click Apply.

McAfee Antivirus?

(Affected Suites: Total protection, Internet Security, and AntiVirus Plus)

  1. Open your McAfee application.
  2. Click Web and Email Protection.
  3. Click Firewall.

  4. Click Internet Connections for Programs drawer.

    NOTE: Depending on the version of the McAfee software you have installed, this may be called Program Permissions.

  5. Scroll to the bottom and click Add.
  6. Click Browse and locate Multi PDF Converter.
  7. Select the application and click Open.
  8. Set the access type you want using the options in the Access drop-down menu.
  9. Click Save.

AVG

  • Open the AVG user interface.
  • Click Tools→Advance Settings.
  • Resident Shield→Exceptions.
  • Then Add Multi PDF Converter to be excluded from scans.

Kaspersky

  1. Open application settings window.
  2. Select Protection on the left.
  3. Click the Trusted Zone button in the Exclusions block.
  4. Go to the tab Exclusion rules and click Add.
  5. Select an exclusion type in the Properties field: Object and/or Threat type. Select object and choose Multi PDF Converter to exclude.
